My students always seemed to enjoy my Shakespeare lite renditions but not my quizzes, tests, and essay assignments over Shakespeare. They could never figure the connection between the light-hearted lectures and the demanding work load. But with some encouragement I was cajoled into gathering my ramblings and make them available for other students trying to plow their way through Shakespeare or at least through Cliffs Notes. Today that would probably be SparkNotes. Here are my notes.
